As a security guard company that monitors regional crime trends, Austin is seeing an increase in violent crime and homicides in the Austin area.
There are several crime clusters noted near the 183 & I-35 areas. Unfortunately, September proves a deadly month with 10 homicides in the City of Austin which is up from 4 in July and 4 in August. Austin has over 64 homicides in 2021 (as of September 23, 2021). Other violent crime has also increased as well.
