Compliance As A Core Value

As a premier private security company, Perimeter Security Services' goal is to ensure that we comply with all local, state and federal regulations. Moreover, we cooperate and comply with local and federal law enforcement whenever needed.

Our team has established a continuous process of reviewing security guard licenses and training status, conducting reviews of every incident type reported to us, and we have supervisors and company leaders providing ongoing OJT (On the Job Training) and formal training for our security officers. 

As part of our compliance efforts we apply Quality Assurance practices and have adapted processes from ISO 9001 in order to improve our security services operations. Scaffolding these processes, we conduct regular management reviews of our operations in order to continuously improve quality.

State, Federal & Agency Ready

Additionally, we comply with all random and required Department of Public Safety audits and monitor our business practices to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. As a Texas security guard company registered with and the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, we comply with all required and applicable regulations and policies. 

From a Federal procurement perspective, Perimeter Security Services complies with Federal procurement provision FAR 52.209-7, and subject to the clause in FAR 52.209-9 in a current Federal contract, and award provisions in 2 C.F.R. 200 Appendix XII.

As we are a Texas based security guard company, we also comply with Texas Occupation Code Title X, Chapter 1702 as to the operations and requirements for private security in Texas. When applicable we comply with private investigation regulations such as, but not limited to the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other local, state and federal requirements. We are not a credit reporting agency.

Should a compliance or operational issue be discovered, we have processes in place to correct the matter as soon as practical.  Our culture is one that addresses issues head on and corrects issues to meet established compliance requirements.
